This Privacy Policy explains how Myles Duffy handles information through this website and the private, first-party publishing and reporting system used by the owner and authorized operators of official Myles Duffy accounts. The system is not offered to the public and has no public registration or third-party users.
Information processed
The system may process authenticated account and channel identifiers, profile and channel information, submitted media, titles, descriptions, captions, tags, visibility settings, publishing and processing status, platform post identifiers and URLs, engagement and analytics information made available by connected platforms, and OAuth access or refresh tokens needed to connect official accounts. It does not request or store a user’s Google password.
The website may receive limited technical information normally provided by browsers and hosting systems, such as IP address, browser type, device information, referring page, and security or diagnostic logs.
YouTube API Services
The system uses YouTube API Services, including the YouTube Data API and YouTube Analytics API, to upload owner-approved videos, set owner-selected metadata and visibility, verify publication, retrieve information for the official channel, and create internal performance reports. Use of YouTube API Services is subject to the YouTube Terms of Service, the YouTube API Services Terms of Service, and the Google Privacy Policy.
How information is used
Information is used only to authenticate official accounts; prepare, schedule, publish, update, or manage owner-approved content; apply the visibility setting expressly selected by the owner; confirm publishing results; retrieve authorized channel and performance information; produce internal reporting and time-based trends; maintain security; troubleshoot errors; and improve the reliability of the private workflow.
Services and disclosures
Information is transmitted directly to connected platform APIs as necessary to perform requested operations, including YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, Bluesky, X, TikTok, and other owner-authorized services. Hosting and technical service providers may process limited information as necessary to operate and secure the website and system. Authorized YouTube API Data is visible only to the authorizing channel owner and agents expressly approved by that owner. Personal information and YouTube API Data are not sold.
Data storage, refresh, and deletion
OAuth credentials are encrypted and access is limited to authorized operators. Stored YouTube API Data is retained only as needed for the owner’s approved publishing and reporting purposes. Data that must remain current under YouTube’s policies is refreshed or deleted within 30 calendar days. Historical reporting is identified with its applicable capture date and is maintained only where permitted for the authorized analytics use case.
The owner may request deletion by emailing myles@mylesduffy.com. The system will delete the applicable stored user data as soon as possible and no later than seven calendar days after a verified request, account deletion, consent revocation, or inability to verify continued authorization. Deleting data from this private system does not delete data stored by YouTube; content on YouTube must be deleted through YouTube or another authorized API client that supports deletion.
Authorization and revocation
Google authorization can be reviewed or revoked at any time through Google Security Settings. After revocation, the system will stop using the affected authorization, revoke the token programmatically when applicable, and delete Authorized Data obtained under that consent as soon as possible and within seven calendar days. Revoking access may prevent future publishing and analytics collection.
Security
Reasonable administrative and technical safeguards are used to protect credentials, media, and reporting data, including access controls and encrypted credential storage. No internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure.
Third-party services
Connected platforms operate under their own privacy policies and terms. This policy supplements but does not replace or control those third-party policies.
Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated when the website, private system, connected services, or applicable requirements change. The current revision date appears at the top of this page.
